flame art studios
Visit Flame Art Studios as we open our doors again for IDADA’S First Friday Art Tour on Friday, September 3 from 6-9 pm (or later!)
About the Studio
Flame Art Studios is a collaboration of two “fiery” women, Nancy Lee, and Jari Sheese, bonded by a mutual addiction to fire: independent artists, working in diverse mediums, all crafted by the torch. Metal, glass and fine silver have all tasted the kiss of the creative flame.
Jari and I have three recent additions to the studio, who will be sharing the space with us. All are accomplished woodworkers, each possessing their own individual style of work.

Flame Art Studios is a private, independent studio that works in cooperative ventures with other artists and studios, and strongly promotes new & established local artists.
Nancy Lee and Jari Sheese offer private and group instruction in our various mediums, with classroom studios in the following practices (click on titles for class info):
METALSMITHING CLASS – Nancy Lee
LAMPWORK BEAD MAKING – Fuego Loco Studios – Jari Sheese
Enjoy classes in metalsmithing and jewelry fabrication from metals and found objects, lampwork bead making, wireworking, etching, and other related classes and workshops. Each artist offers classes independently through their own studios and on their own schedules. Guest instructors are also invited on an occasional basis. Please contact individual artists or click on the links above for class information.
Flame Art Studios is located in the Mass Ave. warehouse district, inside the huge Circle City Industrial Complex at 1125 Brookside Ave., C-15, Indianapolis, IN, 46202. There is a lot to see in this 500,000 square foot complex – many other artists show their own work and the works of others in a variety of gallery settings. The building is hopping during IDADA’S First Friday Gallery Tours, held, appropriately, on the first Friday of each month from 6-9 PM.
